IT WORKED!!!!!

I have an announcement, ladies and gentlemen. For weeks, I’ve been talking about Matt and Mike from Glee. Well, on this weeks episode of Glee, Mike Chang shouted “OOOOOOH” while dancing and singing in “Ice, Ice Baby”. All by himself. We heard the voice of Mike Chang! Oh. My. God. It worked!!!! Mike had a line! Now to push on for Matt to say something, and Mike to have more. He has a deep voice. Just so you all know.

And as a reminder of who I’m talking about:

Mike Chang

He’s kinda cute, too… 😉

Will discuss the whole episode later. Still recovering from Jin and Sun and Sayid and Lapidus’ demise last night on LOST. It was sad.

Woo hoo!

Well, I was going to have this published by tomorrow, but, um, after watching Sayid, Jin, and Sun die just now, I think it’ll have to wait. That was honestly painful to see. So I’ll get a two-in-one Glee post up later.

Please pass the towels for my tears.

Dr. Linus

So who caught LOST the other night? Wow… that episode was good! As far as I’m concerned, we had two good weeks in a row. And I’ve always liked Ben episodes. Even when he’s being evil, I still root for him… well, except for when he’s killing Keamy. And I was glad when Ilana said “I’ll have you.” That man was right… up until then, he’d been rejected by many, abandoned by many. His mother died (yeah, I know… childbirth, I don’t think it was an optional death), his father basically hated him and blamed him for his mother’s death, he never seemed to feel as if he belonged in the Dharma Initiative, Jacob turned his back to Ben, or so he felt, Alex was killed in front of him (although he did bring that one upon himself), after a while, the Others seemed to be turning from him; this poor guy! It’s no wonder he felt no one would have him. And there Ilana said it. She accepted him… after making him dig his own grave.

And by the way, if someone told me to start digging my own grave, I think I’d refuse… what’s the worst they’re going to do? Kill me? Twice? I say kill me now and then you get to dig the damn grave.

I’m not so sure I’m buying that the MiB really wants Ben to be the new protector/leader of the Island… just a few episodes back he said to Sawyer that the Island didn’t need a protector or leader. So I think, and this is just me, that FLocke is just trying to manipulate Ben. Maybe if Ben had escaped to the Hydra Station, he would have just met his death there at the hands of FLocke.

And Miles… we started to see a bit of that sarcasm in Miles that I love! And we had to hear him mention Nikki and Paulo. Yech. By the way, lostpedia, I have a bone to pick with you. Seriously? You put Nikki and Paulo on the “main characters” portal? I mean, come on now… they were two characters who magically appeared near the end of Season 2 or at the beginning of Season 3. And they were killed off in Season 3. In an episode that tried to prove to us that they were there… but it didn’t. The only good part of that episode was we got to see Boone again.

However, Miles did some good. Using Ben’s line back at him. The sarcastic “uh oh” after he told Ilana what happened to Jacob. Please continue this comeback Miles. I miss you.

And there was Hurley’s line in his opening scene. “Cheese curds”. Remind anyone else of his line “Mallomars” back in Season 4?

And then there’s Richard. DUDE! Freaked me out there. Him and Jack. Tryna kill himself. Really Richard. There is a purpose for you… even if it is to strut around the Island in those good shirts never aging, and randomly popping in and out… it’s a purpose, sir. But that scene was completely awesome… the fuse just went out BY ITSELF! That is why we watch LOST.

And then the reunion and all, yay. But that’s not the reunion I want to see writers!!! JIN AND SUN! You’ve kept me waiting for two seasons now. Jeez.

So this was a fantastic episodes… definitely in the top category. And to all those complaining about a slow season, blah, blah, blah… just keep watching. It will be awesome before the end.

http://lovesteamykeamy.wordpress.com is finally up and running again! Took forever, but I got my password issues fixed up, yay!

Last night’s LOST (Sundown)

Okay, I know, days late… but I got my hands on a J.D. Robb book and didn’t put it down until near 11 last night… I was just slightly distracted. Plus I needed to make sure I had it all straight! Of course…

First thing to say… well damn. My favorite character in the world on LOST, Mr. Martin Keamy, came back and died all over again. Oh, and I hate Flash-Sideways Sayid. You killed my man! it was the first time I smiled real happily and big and all in a very long time, and you took it away. Damn you!

So we started out, and here we are in LA, Flash-Sideways Sayid sitting in a cab. And who opens the door? It’s Nadia!!! Who is now married to Sayid’s brother Omer and has two kids with him. Well, dang. I was hoping Sayid would be reunited with Nadia (again) so they could live together happily (again) without Nadia dying (again).

Flash over at the temple, and Dogen and Sayid talking, then fighting. Scales were tipped the wrong way for Sayid, apparently. Hmmmm… finally, a little answer!

Back to the Island. FLocke is talking with Scary Claire. Telling her she has to do it. Do what, now? She doesn’t want to do it, she wants Sawyer or Jin to do it.

Back to Flash-Sideways. Sayid asleep on the couch. Omer wakes Sayid up. Omer’s in trouble. Apparently one of his loans for his business is giving him trouble, even though he’s already paid the loan off. Wants Sayid to do his thang that he did all those years ago. When he convinced Nadia that Omer was the better choice than him…

Island. Sayid and Miles talk. Miles finally clears something up for us, he tells Sayid that he really was dead, and Sayid tells him he’s been banished.

And then Scary Claire walks into the Temple (by the way, anyone else think that in another life that temple could be a very peaceful and relaxing place to visit?), tells Dogen that “he” wants to speak with him. Okay, WHAT IS THE MAN IN BLACK’S REAL NAME?!?! We get “my friend”, we get “FLocke”, “He”, “Smoke Monster”, and now “Evil Incarnate”. But I want to know who he really is. Dogen sends Sayid out to talk to MiB, along with a knife, telling him to kill him.

Flash-Sideways. Sayid takes kids to school bus stop. Hugs them, tells them to have a good day, sees them off. Then we see Nadia running towards Sayid, a panicky look on her face. Uh oh… Omer was mugged outside his store, has a punctured lung and is badly beaten, in the hospital, rushing him into surgery. Nadia asks Sayid to wait for the kids, not to do anything violent, just make her babies feel safe. And while they’re rushing through the hospital, look who’s there, it’s Dr. Jack Shephard walking by!

Island. Sayid walking through the jungle, runs into Kate. Tells her to get back to the Temple, and she’s headed that way anyhow. Rattling in the trees, and the sound that the Smoke Monster makes. FLocke appears. Sayid plunges knife into his chest without even so much as a hello. FLocke pulls the knife out of his chest, and it’s completely clean… hmmmmm. Then hands it back to Sayid, and they have a nice cozy little chat, with a part of that chat being FLocke telling Sayid that whatever he wanted, he could get for him. Sayid says “all I ever wanted died in my arms”. Hmmmm, do we mean Nadia, do we mean Shannon (please no! Nadia!), or do we mean that chicken he killed as a boy?

Sideways. Sayid fixing a vase. Tells Nadia that he doesn’t deserve her. But we all know she’s supposed to be with him. He shouldn’t have pushed her to his brother. I wanted the Sayid and Nadia reunion.

Island. Boy, we jump a lot, don’t we? So Kate has talked to Miles, who tells her that Claire has come into the Temple, and the Temple Others took her away. He also confirmed that Sawyer sent her packing, but we already saw that, so now she’s running through the temple looking for Claire. She finds Lennon, who tries to get her to tell him what she’s doing in there and where Ford and Kwon are, but she shoves an elbow to his throat to get him to take her to Claire, who is being extra creepy and singing “Catch a Falling Star”. They have two minutes to talk, and she tells Claire that the Others don’t have Aaron, she does. Who else thought Scary Claire was going to leap out of that weird pit thing and snap Kate’s neck at that moment? Kate tells Scary Claire she’s going to rescue her, Scary Claire says she doesn’t need saving, and as Kate is being dragged away, Scary Claire shouts out “He’s coming Kate! He’s coming and you can’t stop him!”

And then Sayid comes back into the temple and tells everyone that they have two choices. Get the hell outta the temple before sundown and leave with FLocke, or die. And mass panic ensues. Thanks Sayid. Lennon seems pretty pissed, and shouts to everyone that “HE CAN’T COME IN!” and then thanks Sayid for his lovely little announcement.

Back to Sidewaysville. A van pulls up, and hey, I recognize that guy!

It’s Keamy henchman from the Freighter Omar. Who died by a grenade Keamy hacky-sacked over to save his own life. Omar tells Sayid to go with him and the other henchguy, and when Sayid refuses he threatens him in Arabic. So Sayid complies. They take him to a commercial kitchen, and there’s a guy frying some eggs at the stove. Oh boy, I completely recognize that sexy deep voice, and am starting to get excited. And hey, my excitement pays off!

HOLY CRAP IT’S KEAMY!!!!! Excuse me, gotta do a little happy dance… okay, thanks. So Keamy offers him some eggs, bragging about them being some pretty good eggs, and then they get down to business. Keamy is the man Sayid’s brother Omer borrowed money from, a loan shark. Keamy says Omer is in debt, and Sayid should cover it. Sayid doesn’t really want to, and then grabs Omar (yeesh, Omer and Omar, this isn’t confusing at all.) as a human shield when a gun is fired. Bye-bye Omar. He then shoots the other henchman, and then turns the gun to Keamy. Well, crap, I was just getting all happy my man was back. Keamy tells him he’ll forgive the debt and let it all slide, just let Sayid walk out of there and forget about it all. But Sayid has to be a huge douche and shoot Keamy anyways. Damn you Sayid! He then hears a banging coming from a walk-in freezer, and opens it to find Jin tied up. He takes the tape off and Jin shouts something in Korean.

Back to the Island. Sayid tells Miles they’ll leave after he returns the knife. He takes the knife and drops it by Dogen, who is sitting by the pool. Dogen tells him a story about when he was living in Osaka as a successful banker, how he got really drunk one day and got into an accident after picking his son up from a baseball game. Dogen survived, but his son… he trails off. Then tells how Jacob told him he would make his son better, but he had to stay on the Island. So here he is, never to see his son again. Sayid remarks about the hard bargain. Dogen notices it’s sundown and asks if Sayid has chosen to go or stay, with Sayid staying he’d like to stay. And then Sayid knocks him into the pool and drowns him. Lennon then runs in, sees Dogen in the pool, runs in to see if he can save him and then shouts at Sayid “He was the only thing keeping him out!” The him in reference being our dear Smokie. Sayid grabs that knife, slashes Lennon in the throat, who falls into the pool dead. And then he remarks “I know.” Ahem, SCARY SAYID!!

We hear the classic smoke monster noises coming all around, and then all hell breaks loose. People getting killed, Miles and Kate are running away from the monster. Kate goes to get Claire, while Miles keeps running. Scary Claire tells Kate that she’s in the safest place right now, and the monster enters the room, Kate jumps into the pit too, and is “safe”. Although I thought Scary Claire would be snapping Kate’s neck in the pit…

Miles is running, gets to a storeroom, and tries to barricade the door, which Ilana breaks down. Phew, the rescue party is here! Ilana, Miles, Lapidus, Sun, and Ben start running, and Ben runs back to get Sayid. He finds Sayid, and tells him they have to go, and Sayid turns around, and is now totally converted from Sayid to Scary Sayid. He looks at him with a creepy grin and says “not for me.” Ben slowly backs away and then runs like the devil is chasing him. Meanwhile, Miles has revealed to Sun that Jin was at the temple. Ilana is looking for the right symbol, worrying Lapidus. She finds the symbol, pushes the button, and they all hurry into the passage and get the stone door shut just before Smokie charges down that hall.

Claire and Kate emerge into the ruins, and Sayid is walking out too. We hear the scariest version of “Catch a Falling Star” I have ever heard in my life as they walk among the bodies, Kate stopping to grab a gun off a dead body. They leave the temple, join FLocke’s group, and FLocke sends Kate a look of who knows what. And then… LOST

Thought it was a pretty good episode, and it has left me craving more!
